We can now also accept Credit Card payments in person at the viewing session when making payment for products, but we will have to pass on the 2.75% processing fee incurred.

 

How do I book my session?

You can book via email or call to provide full contact & address details for the booking form together with the names of everyone attending, ages of the children would also be great. The session fee acts as confirmation of your appointment & must be paid in full. Our policy is strictly based on a first come first served basis. A confirmation email is sent out once the payment has been received.

 

Do you offer Sunday appointments?

Sunday morning sessions are available by special request & are booked well in advance. 

 

Are you Insured?

Accidents although rare can happen so we are indeed fully insured with a Public liability policy up to £5M.

 

Are you available for studio or location work?

Yes we capture a wide & varied range of photographic servicesincluding Maternity, Baby, Children, Families, Couples and Commercial photography either in the studio or at your favourite locations all over Kent. Please see the pricing page for current prices or email to receive a detailed quote.


How long do we have in the studio? 

We do not set a time limit on our sessions unless you have purchased a special promotional mini session. When working with children we believe it is important to build up a rapport to get the very best images. The session should not be rushed in our opinion.

 

Can I have a mixed variety of images with my family?

Your time is ours & we want you to have an enjoyable portrait experience, so please bring along a selection of favourite outfits. Most importantly our priority is for you to go away with images that you will cherish. 


Do you offer weekday appointments?

Yes, About U Photography is open during the week for your convenience.


Is the studio open in the evenings?

We all live busy lives these days & are flexible in the hours that we operate. Couple portraits can easily be scheduled for an evening so you do not have to waste a days holiday, but many couples appreciate having a daytime location session.


How long do I have to wait to see my family photographs?

We appreciate that our clients get very excited about viewing their images & can promise that your images will be ready for viewing within 7-10 days of your session, this is just part of About U Photography's superb quality service! The viewing/order session can be scheduled for either a weekday morning or evening of your choice, it is one extra benefit of using us to capture your photographs.  

 

How long will I have to wait to receive my products?

About U Photography consolidates all of our orders for the 28th of each month, which are then securely couriered back to the studio. You never have to wait too long to receive your products. If you can't wait until the end of the month we offer a fast track service which is priced at an additional £10 to cover courier charges to the studio.


I have been given a portrait voucher but it has expired, can I still use it?

About U Photography gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issue giving you plenty of time to schedule your appointment. We advise you to book your session within a couple of weeks as we cannot be held responsible for misplaced or lost vouchers.

 

I would like to purchase Digital files what can I do with the files?

All our digital files are supplied via Digital download & come print ready with a personal print license to reproduce photographic prints at a maximum size of either 12x8" or 10x8". You can either order your prints online or use a high street lab of your choice. Please be aware that larger prints & wall art need to be ordered directly from the studio as we can guarantee the quality of our suppliers, we want your images to be presented the very best that they can! Thank you for your understanding.


How long do you store images for?

After the viewing session we backup all purchased images for 6 months, as once family and friends see your prints they request to purchase additional copies.


I would like to buy wall art but I don't have the funds at the moment & I am worried the files will be destroyed, can I reserve them?

Not a problem at the viewing stage we are able to take a £50 non refundable deposit to secure your choice of files & allow 6 months for the remaining balance to be made before ordering the product.
