Tips for the perfect shoot
For young children and babies try to arrange a shoot around their sleep patterns. When having a studio shoot please bring along a few of their favourite toys to make them feel more relaxed in the surroundings. I can play nursery rhymes to encourage playfulness and interaction between your child and the camera. Sometimes the bubbles come out for extra fun.
Family and group portraits are best if everyone is wearing the same style of clothing. If you wish for a more relaxed shoot please wear casual attire.
Simple, solid, natural and light colours best suit a portrait sitting. It is best to avoid large and bold patterns with bright colours as these will date your picture. Darker colours give a more formal appearance.
Long sleeve tops and plain shirts are great. Please feel free to bring a selection of clothing with you.
Most importantly I want you to feel comfortable and relaxed as this will provide the best results. I aim to make all of my shoots an enjoyable experience.
