Finding a photographer to cover your Kentish wedding is a very important decision to make. There are many considerations to make like the style of images contemporary or classic, who you would like captured in your images and what would you like recorded. I always meet with clients to discuss these very points and it also helps to build a rapport, it gives an opportunity for you to view my work, which is very much in the reportage style and see the albums that I have to offer.

A common misconception made is that a photographer just turns up on the day takes a few hours worth of photographs and then hands them back and charges vast amounts of money for the privilege, wrong. Some might but not me. For me it is all about the attention to detail, the planning including site visits and sometimes a pre wedding portrait session, which gives me a chance to see how a couple reacts to the camera and lens. A detailed wedding plan of images and timetable is always agreed prior which can be given to the best man to help the photos run smoothly.

Communication is key when working with groups, especially with young children and with my background in studio work I believe I am heavily skilled when dealing with toddlers, teenagers and families alike. It is important to make photographs fun that way people do not lose interest.
